Cardfight!! Vanguard is a Japanese trading card game created in collaboration between Akira Ito (Yu-Gi-Oh! R), Satoshi Nakamura (Duel Masters), and Bushiroad president Takaaki Kidani. A 2011 anime television series based on the game was produced by TMS Entertainment and aired in Japan on TV Tokyo starting on January 8, 2011. In addition to the anime, a manga series was also announced.
Plot
The protagonist of this story, Sendo Aichi, is a timid boy in his third year of middle school. He had one thing that kept him going - the "Blaster Blade," a card from a card game that was given to him when he was little. The name of the card game is "Vanguard." The game takes place in a different planet called "Klay,". Aichi, however, has a goal: to once again battle with a Vanguard Fighter by the name of Kai Tosihki. Kai Toshiki is an aloof high schooler who has outstanding abilities in the world of Vanguard. He is also the reason why Aichi started playing the game. He wishes that someday, he'll be able to battle Toshiki and have him recognize his worth.
Main Characters
Aichi Sendo
Aichi Sendo is the main protagonist of Cardfight!! Vanguard. He is a somewhat shy and timid young man who wishes to be a Vanguard Fighter, but has never had the chance to have a real battle, until his second encounter with Kai Toshiki.
Kai Toshiki
Kai Toshiki is a very serious character. it is known from the end of episode 1 that he had previously met Aichi Sendo and gave him the card Blaster Blade which later becomes the heart of Aichi's Deck.
Kamui Katsuragi
An lively and energetic elementary student who really isn't really very polite to all the elder card fighters. He has fallen head over heels in love with Aichi's sister, Emi, at first sight. From that moment on, he has kept calling Aichi: 'Elder Brother'. He is hot-tempered but generally good at heart.
Tokura Misaki
She works in "Card Capital".She never play vanguard before but know a lot abut vanguard and know how to use the card.She is the first person to defeat Sendou Aichi in vanguard.She use the card that her uncle give her.She plays with a deck centered around Oracle Think Tank.
